The NFL made an important announcement about the 2025 NFL draft on Thursday. It announced that 55 underclassmen were granted eligibility for the 2025 NFL draft. Another 15 players showed they completed their degree requirements in three years,

A total of 55 underclassmen declared their formal entry into the 2025 NFL Draft ahead of the January 14th deadline. These players gave up their collegiate eligibility, though they do have a couple of weeks to change their decision.

Only 55 underclassmen are in the 2025 NFL Draft prospect pool, but that number could grow next week. Pro prospects for Notre Dame and Ohio State are allowed to declare for the draft following the College Football Playoff national championship game on Monday.
