All U.S. airlines are now prohibited from flying into Haiti for the next 30 days after two planes were struck by gunfire while landing in Port-au-Prince.

"We had a lot of hope at the beginning of this as a missing person's case, but as the time had gone on, we as a family were pretty ... for no reason," sister Colleen Shanahan Adair said at the time.
