A year and a day after the deadly incident, the National Transportation Safety Board released its final report about a small plane crash along Interstate 40.

Part of Interstate 40 was closed in Johnston County on Wednesday afternoon. Broadcastify traffic indicated there was standing water in part of the roadway.

TDOT spokesperson Mark Nagi said this is so crews can replace downed power lines that were damaged in Tuesday evening's storm.
