MARYLAND (WBFF) — The results of the name contest for The Maryland Zoo’s baby giraffe are in and the winning name is Titali. Zoo officials say the name means butterfly in the Bulu language.

A baby giraffe whose birth in March came as a surprise at the Maryland Zoo this week received a name — Titali, which means “butterfly” in the Bulu language spoken in southern Cameroon.
