Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 47th president of the United States on Monday at an inauguration ceremony that has been scaled back due to a forecast of severe cold weather in the nation's capital.

Officials in charge of security for the inauguration still don't know who will be allowed to enter Capital One Arena for the celebration.

Organizers have placed a desk and chair onstage at Capital One Arena, where Trump could sign a slew of executive orders after he takes the oath of office Monday afternoon. A red chair with a small table was placed on the stage around 10 a.m., hours before he is expected to appear.
