The Paulinskill Viaduct has been a bridge to nowhere since 1978, when the last train rumbled across this majestic crossing 115 feet above the river in Warren County.

"For the federal government, $7 million is a drop in the bucket, but for Old Bridge taxpayers it's a lot of money," Mayor Debbie Walker said.
