The Cincinnati Bengals have hired a pair of coaches from Jerod Mayo’s former Patriots staff. The Bengals announced that Scott Peters (offensive line coach) and Michael McCarthy (assistant offensive line coach) would lead the team’s offensive line.

According to a team release, the Cincinnati Bengals have brought Patriots' offensive line coach Scott Peters onto their staff, along with assistant offensive line coach Michael McCarthy — effectively leaving two more vacancies on New England's offensive staff.

Over the last few weeks, the New England Patriots' coaching staff has undergone a transformation after the team moved on from head coach Jerod Mayo with special teams coordinator Jeremy Springer being the only coach kept so far.

Cincinnati is finalizing a deal to hire Notre Dame defensive coordinator Al Golden to run its defense. He is expected to officially sign with the team on Thursday.
