In an era defined by division and disinformation, “Alon ng Kabayanihan” proves that powerful storytelling can unite a nation.
The binational film contest, Kaleidoscope, is now taking submissions for its second run, promoting filmmaking and international unity for filmmakers of all levels and backgrounds.
The film has been accepted at 30 film festivals nationally and internationally. The Allen County Public Library will host a screening of the documentary in its theater at 1 p.m. Sunday.
