I'm writing a simple batch file to move, then delete files older than 7 days. Using Robocopy for the move, then using Forfile to search the old files and Del for the deletion of files.

Program source code, batch files, macros and scripts are straight text and stored as ASCII files. HTML and XML files are also ASCII files.

To make it easy for PC users to be able to quickly choose a preferred app (eg; Text Editor), to open/edit the batch file on demand, you can add the Open with option to the context menu of .bat files.
