The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Thursday announced the schedule of the 2025 edition of the Women's Premier League which will see defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru square off against Gujarat Giants in opener on February 14.

Defending champions Royal Challengers Bengaluru will face Gujarat Giants in the opening game of the 2025 Women's Premier League. The tournament will begin on 14 February and is scheduled to run until 15 March. The group stage will run until 11 March, before the Eliminator - between the teams that finish second and third - on 13 March.

WPL 2025 kicks off on February 14 with a match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Gujarat Giants. The tournament concludes with the title match on March 15 in Mumbai, taking place across four cities.

The third edition of the Women's Premier League will begin on February 14 and for the first the WPL will be played across four cities, Baroda, Bengaluru, Mumbai and Lucknow, the BCCI announced on Thursday while releasing the full schedule.
