Los Angeles Sparks forward Cameron Brink hadn't played in a basketball game since June 2024 before Tuesday night, and she made her first basket back count in front of the home crowd.

After 406 days, Cameron Brink made her much awaited return for the Los Angeles Sparks on Tuesday. In her first action since tearing her ACL on June 18, 2024 against the Connecticut Sun, Brink finished the night with five points and three rebounds with one block, assist and steal in 13 minutes in an 89-74 loss to the Las Vegas Aces .

Cameron Brink was dancing and smiling in the pre-game huddle. After 13 months away from the sport she loves, the Los Angeles Sparks forward was back in what coach Lynne Roberts calls “her happy place.
