Park City Mountain's ski patrollers approved a new contract with Vail Resorts, ending a 13-day strike. Ski patrol and mountain safety workers plan to return to the slopes Thursday. The new contract includes wage increases, parental leave policies, educational opportunities and a sustainable pay scale.

Park City Mountain ski patrollers on Wednesday agreed to a contract hammered out late Tuesday night by negotiators for their union and Vail Resorts. The contract includes pay bumps of between $2 and $7.

The lawsuit accuses Vail Resorts “intentionally and willfully deceived hundreds of thousands of consumers.” The ski patrol strike at Park City Mountain, Utah, is over, but now a lawsuit has been filed against Vail Resorts for allegedly not disclosing the strike's impacts.
