The Supreme Court on Monday granted President Donald Trump’s emergency request to resume deporting migrants to countries other than their homeland, including places like South Sudan, with minimal notice.

The ruling applies immediately to a group of men the government has sought to send to South Sudan.

The conservative majority set aside the rulings of a judge who said the detained men deserved a 'meaningful opportunity' to object to being sent to a strange country where they may be tortured or abused.
