Former South Alabama running back Braylon McReynolds is transferring to Louisiana-Monroe, he announced Monday. McReynolds, a Mobile native who starred at McGill-Toolen Catholic School, will be reunited with his high school coach in Monroe. Earnest Hill is entering his second season as Warhawks’ defensive coordinator.

The South Alabama Jaguars men’s basketball team is at the top of the Sun Belt Conference standings after taking down Arkansas State Thursday night at home, 76-62. The Jags had five players with double digits in the scoring column against the Red Wolves.
