Ole Miss baseball coach Mike Bianco's team has improved its chances of hosting an NCAA tournament regional. They just aren't talking about it.

The fourth-ranked Arkansas baseball team will have to set its sights on a different tournament title. The Razorbacks had a quick exit at the SEC Tournament with a 5-2 loss to 20th-ranked Ole Miss on Friday at the Hoover Met.

Cam Kozeal scored after Ole Miss outfielders Ryan Moerman and Isaac Humphrey collided while tracking his line drive into the gap in right-center field. It was Kozeal’s 13th home run and the Razorbacks’ 110th in 56 games.

Seventh-seeded Ole Miss baseball will begin their time at the 2025 SEC Baseball Tournament on Wednesday May 21 against 10 th -seeded Florida.

Florida's offense was held in check by the trio of Elliott, Mason Morris and Cam Spencer with the Gators managing just four hits. Florida was 0-for-9 with runners in scoring position and 0-for-14 with runners on base.

A season that started as a consensus preseason No. 1 for Texas A&M baseball now looks to be ending without an appearance in the postseason. The 14th-seeded Aggies (28-25, 11-19) came into the week knowing a conference title was the only way to ensure a spot in the NCAA Tournament.
