U.S. strikes on three Iranian nuclear facilities could set back Iran's nuclear program by up to a decade, according to a Middle East expert.

Iran has attacked a U.S. base in Qatar, calling the mission "Annunciation of Victory," according to Iranian state TV. The attack is focused on Al Udeid Air Base, according to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.

Qatar condemned the attack on Al Udeid Air Base, but said it successfully intercepted the missiles and no casualties were reported. It said its airspace was now safe.

Trump announced on Saturday that the United States had completed a “very successful attack” on Iran’s key nuclear facilities — including Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan — in a post on his Truth Social platform. He wrote that a “full payload of BOMBS” were dropped, and U.S. planes were safely on their way home.
