A 7-year-old boy died and his 5-year-old sister is in critical condition after a weekend hit-and-run crash on Detroit's east side, police said. Detroit Deputy Police Chief Franklin Hayes said officers were called at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday to the intersection of East Seven Mile and Mound roads for a report of a crash involving three vehicles.
