The Powerball lottery jackpot was an estimated $200 million with a cash option of $89.5 million for Saturday night's drawing, according to the Powerball website. The jackpot was last won on Dec. 7 when a New York lottery player won a $256 million Powerball jackpot.

Two Powerball tickets sold in California won $26,487 each, but just missed the $145 million jackpot, lottery officials say. The tickets matched four winning Powerball numbers and the Powerball, in the drawing Saturday, Dec. 28, the California Lottery said.
