Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay opened "AEW Dynamite" with a confrontation that ended with them agreeing to team up at AEW Grand Slam: Australia.

Kenny Omega and Will Ospreay will join forces at AEW Grand Slam Australia. Kenny Omega had been sidelined for over a year due to diverticulitis, but he returned to AEW at AEW Worlds End. He then made his AEW Dynamite return on January 8th,
