Since the program began in 2010, 1,312,654 lbs. of unwanted medication have been collected in Wisconsin. Nationwide, Wisconsin ranks third overall. Only Texas and California have collected more since the program began. The Drug Enforcement Administration holds two Drug Take Back days a year, one in the spring and one in the fall.

Wisconsin has now collected a total of 1,312,654 pounds of unwanted medications since Drug Take Back began in 2010.
