U.S. Senator Rick Scott, R-Fla., reintroduced the Sunshine Protection Act last year to “lock the clock” and make Daylight Saving Time permanent nationwide. The legislation has stalled in Congress multiple times, largely due to a disagreement over whether to keep standard time or permanent daylight savings time.

Legislative proposals to sunset daylight saving time have come, stalled or gone away, and spring forward season is again upon Nevada. That means later sunrises and sunsets, but it also means the need to adjust clocks — both external and internal.
