Netflix has greenlit a remake of Stephen King’s novel “ Cujo ,” a horror story about a mother and son who get trapped in their car while protecting themselves from a rabid dog.

Stephen King’s Cujo, the bestselling novel that has entertained readers for decades, is getting a new film adaptation. Netflix has made a deal to turn this thrilling story into a feature film, with Roy Lee set to produce.

Roy Lee will produce the reboot of the 1981 Stephen King novel first adapted for a 1983 feature film that starred Dee Wallace and Danny Pintauro.
