Someone won $50,000 playing Mega Millions after matching four numbers and the Mega Ball in the Jan. 28 drawing, just missing the estimated $44 million jackpot, the Georgia Lottery said. The winning ticket was sold at a Kroger fuel station in Tucker, according to lottery officials.

Someone in Massachusetts won $6.13 million during the Megabucks drawing on Monday — the largest lottery prize won so far in 2025.

The Mega Millions jackpot has been won in Arizona. One ticket matched all six balls on Jan. 17's drawing to win the $112 million ($49.95 million cash option), according to the Mega Millions website . The winning ticket was sold at the Winners Corner on West Broadway Road in Tempe, Ariz., according to the Arizona Lottery.

The Powerball jackpot for Monday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $56 million with a cash option of $24.9 million. The winning numbers were: 2, 40, 47, 53 and 55. The Powerball drawn was 20 with a Power Play of 2X.

The Mega Millions jackpot has risen to $44 million for Tuesday's drawing after no one won the top prize on Friday night. If someone should match all six numbers in the Tuesday night drawing, they could choose a one-time cash payment of $19.
