The Genesis is the seventh-oldest tournament on the PGA Tour schedule, but if you consider true PGA Tour events and not the majors, the Genesis is the fourth oldest, behind the BMW, Canadian Open and Texas Open. This year will mark the first time the Genesis will be played outside of the Los Angeles area.
