For just the third time in program history, Ohio State vs. Marshall takes center stage in The Horseshoe. The Buckeyes have never lost to the Herd but it did take an Ohio Stadium-record 55-yard field goal as time expired in 2004 to get the first win.

To the editor: It’s always great to watch the Buckeyes in the Horseshoe. Been doing it since the late 1950s, but (Saturday) seemed different. Granted, it was extremely hot in the sun, but the length of the game was disconcerting. It took at least an hour for the first quarter to end.

Both teams enter off a bye week, with the Buckeyes one of college football's most dominant teams to this point.

After a week off, the No. 3 Ohio State Buckeyes are back to entertain the Marshall Thundering Herd. This game is available on multiple streaming services for free.

Ohio State football fans are all aware of how impressive the Buckeyes looked against the Western Michigan Broncos their last time out as the demolished the Mid-American Conference opponent to the tune of 56-0,

Day convinced his former college coach to leave his position at the head of the UCLA program to serve as Ohio State's offensive coordinator. And so far it's resulted in the Buckeyes scoring 108 points in their first two games.

Ohio State is a 40-point favorite over Marshall in its final nonconference game of the regular season. Kickoff is at noon. Next week, the team will begin Big Ten play with a trip to East Lansing vs. Michigan State.
