Three candidates are running in the Republican primary for two four-year spots on the Kendall County Board in District 2. The primary election is set for March 19.

Kendall County Judge Shane Stolarczyk spoke before a joint House and Senate of lawmakers who visited the Hill Country for the hearing on Thursday.

The new boundaries will allow Precinct 2 staff to utilize the Burdick Community Center, which was located in Precinct 1.
