NASA astronaut Greg Chamitoff will relive his latest spaceflight experience for the public and friends at Oregon State University in Corvallis, Ore., on May 17.

What & Who: International Space Station astronaut Greg Chamitoff, who completed a six-month stay in space last year, will visit NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala., April 1.

HOUSTON – NASA astronaut Greg Chamitoff, who recently completed a six-month stay in space, will be available for satellite interviews from 7:30 to 9:30 a.m. CST on Thursday, Dec. 18.

Despite the turkey with trimmings, astronaut Robert "Shane" Kimbrough said he still missed being with his family on the holiday. "I think we're all ready to see our families," Kimbrough said.

A bill passed in 1997 by the Texas Legislature set up a way for astronauts - most of whom live in Houston - to vote from space using an electronic ballot and secure e-mail.
