Four-time Grand Slam champion Carlos Alcaraz overcame Taylor Fritz in the deciding match as Team Europe rallied to beat Team World 13-11 and win the Laver Cup.

Europe fought back to win their first Laver Cup for three years after Carlos Alcaraz beat Taylor Fritz 6-2, 7-5 in the deciding match in Berlin on Sunday. The win gave Europe a 13-11 success after they had been behind to Team World for the whole of the final day in the men's tennis equivalent of golf's Ryder Cup.

Carlos Alcaraz beat Taylor Fritz 6-2 7-5 to hand Team Europe a 13-11 victory over Team World in the Laver Cup in the last session of the tournament on Sunday.

American pair Taylor Fritz and Ben Shelton have edged Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in doubles to tie the Laver Cup after the first day in Berlin.

Carlos Alcaraz was beaten in doubles as Europe ended the first day of the Laver Cup level with the rest of the world team.
