A Boston woman was charged with murder Thursday after a Charlestown man was found dead on a houseboat earlier this week.

A 24-year-old Boston woman was named a "person of interest" in a "suspicious" Charlestown houseboat death during her court appearance on domestic violence charges Tuesday.

During Tuesday’s hearing prosecutors said Nelson was at the scene when police responded to investigate an incident on a houseboat at Shipway Place in Charlestown Sunday night and found a person dead on the houseboat.
