A man was found shot to death in a Richmond apartment building on Christmas Day. Police responded to the scene at around 9:30 p.m. on Clarkson Road, near the intersection with Southwood Parkway in South Richmond. Upon arrival, officers found a man down in the stairwell of a building. He had been shot and was pronounced dead on the scene.

The shooting victim, 21, walked into a hospital with a gunshot wound that was not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
