Two years ago, Booker played through a left groin injury in his 58-point effort against the Pelicans that ended with a 118-114 home win on Dec. 17. He missed Phoenix’s next three games before returning against the Nuggets on Christmas Day, but re-aggravated the injury within five minutes of a 128-125 overtime road loss and didn’t return.

Phoenix (15-14) won its first game without him Wednesday, defeating the Denver Nuggets, 110-100. Previously listed out with left groin soreness, Booker is averaging 25.1 points in 26 games.
