The first episode of World Wrestling Entertainment's "Monday Night RAW" on Netflix averaged 4.9 million viewers globally and 2.6 million households in the U.S. That's according to VideoAmp.

In a stunning twist, Raw will also see the return of The Undertaker. PWInsider Elite reports that the legendary figure has been spotted in Los Angeles, just ahead of the show in nearby Inglewood. The Undertaker is reportedly slated to make a special return, with plans for his iconic "American Badass" entrance on a motorcycle.

Raw’s debut on Netflix took place in the Los Angeles Intuit Dome and set a company record as the highest-grossing WWE arena event of all time. The sold out crowd in LA also set a record for the highest-grossing non-Premium Live Event of all time in merchandise sales.

The premiere episode of WWE Raw will stream live from the new Intuit Dome in Los Angeles on Netflix on Monday, Jan. 6, at 5 p.m. PT / 8 p.m. ET for viewers in the US.

The show will reportedly return to a three-hour runtime after switching to two hours during its final run on the USA Network. WWE Raw will make its debut on Netflix. This comes after WWE signed a $5 billion, 10-year deal with the streaming service.

It's been a long time coming, but Netflix seems to be getting the hang of this live sports thing. The company purchased the rights to Raw for $5 billion last January as a foray into live sports. Raw had its first showing go off without a hitch on Monday,
