(CBS DETROIT) — An EF-0 tornado touched down in Holly on Sunday night, the National Weather Service confirmed Monday morning. The tornado, which had an estimated path of one mile and, at its largest, was 50 yards wide, began at 6:56 p.m. and lasted for two minutes.

Storms that brought gusty winds to mid-Michigan on Sunday spawned a weak tornado in southwest Gratiot County, the National Weather Service said.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — The National Weather Service has confirmed a rare November tornado touched down Sunday in Oakland County. The tornado spun up in a storm system that swept through Holly during the evening. It touched down at 6:56 p.m. and picked up two minutes later. It was on the ground for approximately a mile.
