A fireball that streaked across the sky over Georgia was identified as a large meteor, and a piece of the space debris crashed through the roof of a home.

The fireball is presumed to be from a meteor fragmenting in the sky, according to meteorologists and other experts.

AM has drawn much attention. The bright flash was seen in the skies over South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee, and over 200 reports have come in since.
