Former AEW World Tag Team Champions The Young Bucks now known when they'll first defense the IWGP Tag Team Titles in NJPW.

The Young Bucks won the gold at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty. The Young Bucks (Matthew and Nicholas Jackson) were set to challenge Great-O-Khan and HENARE for the IWGP Tag Team Championship at the show.

AEW's Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, collectively known as the Young Bucks, won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship at the NJPW crossover event Wrestle Dynasty.

Naito & Takahashi won NJPW World Tag League 2024, earning them a shot at the IWGP Tag Team Titles. They chose to face each other at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom. Cobb replaced HENARE, who suffered an injury during World Tag League.

The Young Bucks, Matthew and Nicholas Jackson, now have another team to contend with in their match at Wrestle Dynasty.

Yota Tsuji retained the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title at NJPW x AEW Wrestle Dynasty, defeating Jack Perry. Tsuji survived a low blow and Olympic Slam, kicking out just before three. Tsuji ate a knee strike before building momentum to catch Perry with the Gene Blaster.

When the Young Bucks, Nicholas and Matthew Jackson, finished their match at AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty with their hands raised and the IWGP Tag Team Heavyweight Championships around their waists, it was a pretty big deal.
