Francesco Pio Esposito scored in the 72nd minute and Alessandro Bastoni added an insurance goal in stoppage time to lead Inter Milan to a 2-0 win over River Plate on Wednesday night and into the second round of the Club World Cup.

River Plate’s crowd stole the show Wednesday night at Lumen Field, but Inter Milan eliminated the Argentine power from the Club World Cup with a 2-0 win.

Inter Milan take on River Plate on Wednesday, June 25, at Lumen Field in Seattle. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET or 6 p.m. PT. That makes it an 2 a.m. BST start in the UK and an 11 a.m. AEST kickoff in Australia on Thursday morning.
