PRETORIA (Reuters) - The third Twenty20 International between South Africa and India was halted early in the home side’s reply after a wave of flying ants descended on Centurion Park in Pretoria on Wednesday and forced the players from the field.

Tristan Stubbs has scored a patient 47 not out off 41 balls as South Africa beat India by three wickets in the second Twenty20 to level the four-match series 1-1.

South Africa's pacers Gerald Coetzee and Marco Jansen restricted India to a modest 124/6 in the second T20I of the four-match series. Chasing a target of 125, South Africa seeks to level the series. Early breakthroughs by Coetzee and Jansen set the tone for India's struggle.

Tilak Varma scored a maiden Twenty20 International century with a brilliant 107 from 56 balls to help India to an 11-run victory over hosts South Africa at Centurion Park on Wednesday, a game that was stopped for nearly half an hour by flying ants.
