Top seed Emma Navarro made light work of Colombian qualifier Emiliana Arango with a crushing 6-0 6-0 victory in the final of the Merida Open on Sunday as the American claimed her second career title.

Top seed Emma Navarro will take on Emiliana Arango in the final of the 2025 Merida Open. While the American received a bye into the second round and then ousted the likes of Petra Martic, defending champion Zeynep Sonmez, and Elina Avanesyan, the Columbian took out Maria Lourdes Carle, Frances Jones (walkover), Rebecca Sramkova, and Daria Saville.

Emma Navarro landed her second title at the WTA 500 tournament in Merida and it came in some style after the American registered a highly impressive double-bagel 6-0 6-0 win over Emiliana Arango. En route to the Merida final, the top seed won her opening three matches in straight sets and there was no doubt that she was the favorite.
