The Israeli government has said that it agreed to ceasefire proposal, brokered by US President Donald Trump, after “achieving the objectives” of its attacks on Iran which includes removal of Iran’s “dual immediate existential threat” from nuclear weapons and ballistic missiles.

It was a dramatic Monday night. It began with Doha closing its airspace and then Iran launching a volley of missiles at the US’ Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. No casualties were reported from the incident.
