The Delray Beach fire department said on Tuesday that it was "fully cooperating" with an ongoing investigation after a Brightline train slammed into a fire truck on Dec. 28 in Palm Beach County, Florida. Fifteen people were injured in the accident, including three firefighters.

The city's fire chief, Ronald Martin, issued his first statement regarding a Brightline train collision with a Delray Beach fire truck Saturday.

The fire chief in Delray Beach has pledged that the collision between one of the city’s fire trucks and a Brightline passenger train will be “a moment from which we will learn and grow.” In a post today (Dec.
