Marin Cilic continued his comeback from injury, fighting off two match points to defeat Yasutaka Uchiyama of Japan 6-2, 6-7 (4), 7-6 (5) on Sunday to reach the semifinals of the Hangzhou Open in China.

The quarterfinals are set at the first edition of the ATP Hangzhou Open as the top three seeds are already out. This gives a golden opportunity for others to step up and win the title.
