That suggestion initially came from analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, and has now been supported by Apple expert Mark Gurman from Bloomberg. In his latest Power On newsletter, he claims the Apple Vision Pro 2 is expected to arrive sometime between fall of 2025 and spring of 2026.

Bloomberg predicts that the Apple Vision Pro 2 may look very similar to its predecessor, but have a new and improved M5 processor under the hood.

Apple's next-gen Vision Pro will reportedly ship in 2025 with an M5 processor, while a cheaper Vision pro may not arrive until 2027.

Writing in the latest edition of the Power On newsletter, Gurman claims that the Apple Vision Pro 2 is expected to be released sometime between Fall 2025 and Spring 2026. That is a pretty big release window, and slightly less hopeful about the headset’s production timeline than previous reports.

This claim comes by way of Apple analyst Mark Gurman, who always has something to say about the iPhone maker. In his most recent newsletter, Gurman says Apple should release the Vision Pro 2 "between the fall of 2025 and spring of 2026." That would put it right around two years after the first-gen release.

The initial Apple Vision Pro, launched with the M2 chip, quickly felt outdated with the release of the M3 and M4 chips. However, it seems Apple has learned from this and plans to launch the Vision Pro 2 alongside the first Macs with the M5 chip, ensuring it remains competitive in terms of processing power.

Apple could be ending production of its high-priced Vision Pro mixed-reality headset by the end of the year, but that doesn't mean the company is giving up on the product line. According to MacRumors and The Information,
