Alabama football added Tuscaloosa native and former Mississippi State offensive lineman Jayden Hobson to its roster ahead of Monday's start to spring practice.

The good: Alabama has starters seemingly set in stone with LT Overton and Kelby Collins battling for snaps on the outside at Bandit, and Tim Keenan III and James Smith taking charge on the inside. These four have a chance to show much more pressure than the Crimson Tide had in 2024, recording 25 sacks in 13 games — tied for third-worst in the SEC.

Clearly, the quarterback competition is the most important storyline, but there are plenty of other key players to monitor in the spring.

Changes are coming for Alabama’s A-Day game as the landscape of college football continues to change. The game will be played on April 12, with kickoff scheduled for 12 p.m. The game will not be televised,

The Alabama Crimson Tide’s A-Day Spring game is just around the corner. It will not be available on television for the first time in several years. That does not mean that there are not things to keep an eye out for.

Along with the A-Day game, there will be multiple events happening on the campus on April 12 for all fans to enjoy.
