Great place to visit! I can't believe this gem of a museum is located in little Oshkosh Wisconsin. Take your kids, there are lots of interactive things for them to do. Full review by Scott B

This was our first experience with EAA. We only went for one day. I was unsure about how we would be received as we represented two marginalized groups, African-Americans and women. All of the vendor… Full review by N Y

This is a scam. They make millions of dollars, and have hundreds of volunteers and won't pay for your work. All you are doing is supporting their life style and planes. Very few planes fly. They c… Full review by J N

Hi Traci We have now been to the EAA Oshkosh 5 times and plan to go next year. From the Sunshine Coast in Qld, we have flown in from a couple of different places but we always camp in the camping ground. It is really the best way to see the show and participate in a lot of the free activities which happen in the evening as well a meet some lifetime friends we meet each time we visit. We have found the best way is to fly into O'Hare airport Chicago, hire a mini van, and stay one night near the Chicago Airport, pick up simple camping supplies from Walmart and head off for the Air Adventure.
How much is the entrance fee for the EAA & is there an additional fee to get up close ?
A:
Think it was 20ish but if your an EAA member hrs free ... But your up close to about everything, there is a fee for the plane rides... Should be on the website..
We are camping under the wing of our plane! I was trying to pack. Will there be a place to plug in a hair dryer to dry my hair at the public showers. If not, what do women do? What is the average temperature during day and at night?

I have not camp at EAA since I live here in Oshkosh. But the camp ground are well equipped and very clean with plenty of showers and areas to take care of yourself. Temps right now are mid 70's and 60's at night but in a week or so it will climb to upper 80's and upper 60's at night. July is almost always a month of unpredicted rain so be prepared to get wet. Close to shopping and many restaurants to eat at. This is a well organized event and you will not be disappointed. You will meet friendly people and have a good time. Good Luck Colin from Oshkosh
