I loved the Norman Rockwell displays! I'm not as much of a fan of the MAD art work. The museum itself and the surrounding grounds are great. Worth the stop! The only thing distressing about our v… Full review by Daydream29073985704

We were very disappointed in the staff after speaking with them. The staff aside, the art was so interesting and very nice to see how he made his sketches first. It was interesting to hear his lif… Full review by 1991KEB
We will be in the area on a fall foilage trip in October. We will be driving that morning from Lebanon, NH and would like to have lunch before we go to the Norman Rockwell Museum. We were wondering how much time we should allow for the museum. We will be driving to Boston after our museum visit, and would like to get in Boston before dark. Are we planning too much in this day? Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

I personally am a huge fan of Norman Rockwell, so our family was there a bit longer--closer to 3 hours -- as I read just about all of the descriptions and information on display. Enjoy the foliage--what a lovely time of year to travel in New England!!

This was my first visit and I really enjoy Rockwell paintings so we spent at least 4 hours seeing the displays and the studio. There are very interesting write ups beside each painting so that takes some time to read. Also the video is worth viewing and then there is a display of all the magazine covers he did. WE also listened to a presentation of his art. And there is a display of another artist in one room...HB cartoons when we were there. IT all depends how much time you want to spend but a minimum of two hours would be the least I could expect one to give
