Q:
I saw online that you can find Amethyst crystals in the area, is this true? Is there a place where you can look for crystals?
A:
We were there last week and found a large piece. Some of the locals we know were surprised as they had never found any.. It was slightly sand worn, but one area still had the crystals.
Q:
Is it possible to pitch a tent on Keem beach? Or would anyone recommend any campsites nearby?
A:
I don’t think you can camp at Keem but there is a large campsite at Keel which isn’t that far away.
