I enjoyed the tour, but I thought it was to pricey just to see dressing rooms that we could not go in, I felt the tour was to rushed, couldn't really stay and look to long, all squeezed in together,…Full review by Azmom006
How much walking is included on the tour? Many stairs?

I don't remember many, if any, stairs on the tour. The tour lasts about 45 minutes and you are on your feet the majority of the time. We had a great time!
It'll be my first visit to Nashville in January 2020. I have a ticket for an Opry show on 31st. I'm keen to book one of the backstage tours but there's two options and I'm stuck between booking a tour immediately before show (backstage, then watch the first act from the side of the stage) or the tour immediately after the show. I'm sure both are great but any advice from seasoned visitors would be appreciated. Too excited!!

About an hour. There were a lot of tours going on so we had to wait a couple times in areas. Also if people ask questions it could last a little more. It was a good length I felt.
Can you purchase back stage passes after you arrive in Nashville on a bus tour

There is a ticket office building to the left of the Grand Old Opry where you can purchase tickets for the show and the back stage tour. I guess it will depend on availability....
