We did this hike on August 1. We arrived at the parking lot (road wasn't too bad getting there in an SUV) at sunrise and started hiking at 6:30am. We didn't see anybody else on the way up to the firs… Full review by Jeremiah Z

This was incredible, absolutely unbelievable and surreal. We started at the trailhead at 6am and got up to the first lake in about 2 hours with close to maybe 20 breaks averaging maybe a minute each.… Full review by Megan H

I know the road to the falls. What vehicle did you take up that road to the Blue Lakes Trail head start - above the falls. I always hiked all the way from the bottom, never drove the road to the trail head but want to this time to save time. I have a Subaru forester think I can drive it up there? Thanks Jutta Scarry

I went to Lower Blue Lake and took a Minivan ... I gather during the summer months a Subaru would be fine ... however higher clearance is always a safe bet
