Hello - it seems the question has already been answered but I'll throw in my 2 cents. No you do not have to pay for parking as there is parking all around the museum on the street. Actually there is a parking garage directly across the street and there is a small lot behind the museum. If you go during the week when there's less congestion I'm sure parking will not be an issue for you. Enjoy!
