So, my wife seeks out bluegrass music wherever we go, as she is a huge Billy Strings fan. We happened to be staying at the hotel down the street (walking distance), and she heard the rumors that it …Full review by justmarkf

Very cool and authentic! The people, music and vibe are off the charts for this hole in the wall. Unassuming! Referred by concierge at Thompson Hotel. He called ahead and reserved us a table. Made my…Full review by Jim L

Q:
How long do the Sunday Gospel shows last?
A:
I don’t know as we went to the evening show which doors opened for at 7pm. Maybe the gospel show was on in the afternoon
Q:
Hotels near station inn?
A:
I did not notice any hotels very close by, but several blocks away, beyond Broadway there are several hotels. The area right around Station Inn has restaurants and retail galore.

I had my 17 year old with me and no one checked our ID, maybe that's because we didn't buy any drinks at the bar. I think there were at least two teenagers there, including my daughter, but the other girl also had her parents with her. The place seems to be calm and fun, we only stayed until 10pm, don't know what would be like after midnight. I think it should be fine if the 16 year old is with other adult, but a teenager probably shouldn't go alone.
Q:
How long does the Sunday bluegrass jam go for if it starts at 8?
A:
I would say the jam would likely go to 10:30 or 11.
Q:
What time should we get there for the gospel music on Sunday at 4?
A:
We got there at 3:30 and found a seat in the back, no problem. There’s not a bad seat in the house, really. It’s nice and small. Favorite snack was the pimento cheese! :-)
